Job Details

SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. We are looking for a Program Manager to support the DHS's governance objectives. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard-working, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced government contractor environment, and who has a positive energetic attitude.

The position is in DC/MD/VA area.

CLEARANCE: MUST HAVE A TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE/SCI

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to serve as the primary point of contact and lead all contractor work performed under a critical government contract. This is aposition as designated by the Government, requiring exceptional leadership, communication, and program management expertise in telecommunications and wireless services.

The Program Manager will oversee complex, multi-faceted projects involving cellular wireless managed services, working directly with government stakeholders and ensuring all contractual obligations are met with the highest quality standards.

The Program Manager will:

Program Leadership & Management

  • Serve as single point of contact for Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control all program activities to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled
  • Manage multiple concurrent project tasks and deliverables
  • Develop comprehensive schedules, work plans, and resource allocation strategies
  • Control and manage program funds, budgets, and resources effectively


Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

  • Maintain continuous availability via telephone and email during business hours
  • Respond to performance, service, delivery, and technical inquiries within 2 hours of notification
  • Provide expert direction and guidance to project team members and subordinates
  • Coordinate with Department of Homeland Security (DHS) personnel and requirements
  • Interface with cellular service providers (AT&T, Verizon, etc.) and vendor partners


Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Ensure all quality standards and performance expectations are achieved
  • Maintain compliance with government contracting regulations and security requirements
  • Oversee telecommunications and expense management processes
  • Manage device lifecycle management protocols and procedures

  • Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contracting experience
  • Cellular service provider management (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.)
  • Comprehensive commercial cellular wireless managed services including multi-carrier access and service coordination
  • Telecommunications and Expense Management (TEM) systems and processes
  • Device Lifecycle Management from procurement through disposal
  • Government contracting financial and contractual service
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Experience with government procurement processes and regulations
  • Financial management and budget oversight experience
  • Risk management and mitigation strategies


Education & Experience
  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and 10+ years total professional experience with 6+ years in management roles
  • Preferred: Master's degree (MS) or MBA and 14+ years total experience with 10+ years in management


Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired
