Job Description:

Position Title: Program Manager

Duration: Long-Term Contract

Location: Remote with 10% travel required

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Program Manager for a long-term contract role supporting internal business units and clients. This position involves defining project scope, developing comprehensive delivery plans, and managing program budgets typically ranging from $1M to $50M. You'll lead day-to-day communications with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring smooth execution across all phases of the program lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage program plans aligned with budgetary constraints. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Prepare and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate across multiple business units including Store Layout, Financial Planning, Architecture & Engineering, Procurement, Legal, Merchandising, and Construction. Manage relationships with internal teams and third-party vendors. May coach and develop direct reports through feedback and performance evaluations. Maintain regular contact with sponsors to manage expectations, report on performance, and promote satisfaction and growth. Utilize internal program management tools to track milestones, maintain project pipelines, and communicate progress. This is primarily an office/home-office based role, with occasional regional travel (approximately 10%).

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in program management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in design and construction or corporate retail environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with web-based applications such as TRIRIGA, MS Project, SAP, Ariba, and PeopleSoft.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong adaptability and prioritization skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Construction Management, Business Management, or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: 5-10 years of related work experience in program or project management, ideally within construction or retail environments.
