RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking Program Manager III to join their team. This is a remote opportunity, but the candidate needs to be local to any client hub office.

Summary:
Within the Platform & Development Xceleration (PDX) group, the Identity organization drives the foundation for secure, trusted experiences across all company products. We are elevating Operational Excellence (OpEx) for our platform and need a contract Technical Program Manager (TPM) who has deep experience driving enterprise scale platform programs. Identity specific domain knowledge is welcome but secondary to your ability to tame complexity, build predictability, and deliver results across multiple engineering workstreams.

Duties:
* Operational Excellence Portfolio Smartsheet ownership - maintain the OpEx portfolio; Partner with Points of Contact (PoCs) to keep scope, dates, and risks current (95% data freshness)
* Workstream execution - drive schedule alignment and delivery confidence for priority initiatives: Java 21 upgrade Self Serve maturity roadmap Frontline Performance Test compliance Argo shutdown and migration Plugin
* Run weekly OpEx stand ups and monthly exec readouts; Produce concise, data driven artifacts; Champion incident post mortems, runbook maturity, and continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience managing technical programs; Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus but not required
* 7+ years managing large scale platform or infrastructure programs in a cloud/SaaS enterprise
* Expertise with Smartsheet (or equivalent), Jira, Confluence, and KPI dashboards
* Proven record driving complex upgrades/migrations (Java, CI/CD, networking, service mesh)
* Strong grasp of DevOps, SLO/SLA management, incident response, and performance testing
* Outstanding written & verbal communication; able to craft exec ready narratives and influence without authority
* Bias for data driven action, risk transparency, and relentless follow through

Nice to Have:
* Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, or AWS Cloud Practitioner
* Identity & access management or security platform exposure
* Familiarity with Intuit's D4D/Agile, DACE, or similar frameworks

Interview Process:
* 1st round - 30 minutes
* 2nd round - 60-90 minutes

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
