Onsite Requirements:

• Teaching and/or education software training experience


• Knowledge in education software


• Strong communication/presentation skills

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist component school districts in enhancing learning through improved integration of technology.


• Enrich and support teaching and learning while strengthening the technology skills of students, teachers and staff.


• Designing and delivering professional development workshops tailored to district needs.


• Communicate with the County School District Technology Directors and Assistant Superintendents to plan and deliver customized professional development to meet their students' needs and school district's vision.


• Are and stay abreast to changes and trends around the use of instructional technology.
  

Required Experience:

• Knowledge of instructional technology


• Self-directed, organized and collaborative


• Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with component school districts


• Experience with instructional technology and applications


• Knowledge of the New York State K-12 Computer Science and Digital Fluency Learning Standards (all grades)


• Knowledge of state and federal laws surrounding student use of instructional technologies


• Ability to travel within the County regularly to different school districts


• Teaching / Training Experience

Desired Skills (Nice to have, not required):

• 3 years of teaching experience with NYS Teacher Certification


• NYS Administrative Certification (SDA, SDL)
