Job Details
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key support role on active construction projects, working closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure effective project coordination, timely procurement, accurate documentation, and quality control. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in growing into future project management roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and change order management
Support scheduling, procurement, and material tracking
Coordinate with architects, consultants, and subcontractors
Conduct site visits to assist with quality control and progress tracking
Assist in maintaining accurate project records and reports
Contribute to project closeout and punch-list processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
1-3 years of experience in commercial construction (internships will be considered)
Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Collaborative mindset and desire to grow in the construction industry
Preferred Experience:
Exposure to ground-up commercial, education (K-12, higher ed), or civic projects
Familiarity with public works requirements and DSA projects is a plus
