RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is in need of a Project Lead for Applications to work on-site 3 days a week in Hopatcong, NJ. This is a 6 month contract to hire role. Responsibilities include overseeing a small team and support business-critical systems across HR, Legal, Corporate Communications, Corporate Functions.
Summary:
This is a people-focused leadership role-ideal for someone highly organized, confident in managing customer expectations, and skilled at driving projects and deliverables without heavy oversight. The position involves close collaboration with demanding stakeholders (particularly HR), coordinating resources, and ensuring smooth project execution, including a major upcoming HRIS replacement. The right candidate will quickly earn the team's trust, keep operations running smoothly, and contribute to long-term process and documentation improvements.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of leadership experience in dynamic IT environments
* Proven project management and team leadership capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication; confident, self-starter, proactive
* Comfortable supporting HRIS systems (Workday, Kronos, etc.)
* Background in Business/Finance/Insurance (BFI) or large, publicly traded organizations is ideal
* Has worked in red-tape-heavy environments and knows how to drive projects forward
* Able to manage priorities/escalations, and operate with little to no hand holding
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
