Job Title: Project Manager/ Pharma
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: long Term contract
Job Description
Project Manager with a strong background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry to lead cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects across clinical, R&D, regulatory, or manufacturing functions within pharma/life sciences.
  • Develop project plans, define scope, allocate resources, and track deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, including scientists, regulatory teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with FDA, GxP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor budgets, timelines, and performance metrics; provide regular status reports to leadership.
  • Drive process improvements, standardization, and best practices across project teams.
  • Coordinate vendor management, contracts, and third-party collaborations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master s or PMP preferred).
  • 5+ years of project management experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of drug development lifecycle, regulatory processes (FDA/EMA), and GxP environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment in Boston s biotech/pharma hub.
