Job Summary

The Project Manager's primary purpose is to lead, oversee, and ensure the successful delivery and management of single or multiple projects. The project manager must do this within scope, to a certain quality, and within time and cost constraints.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required activities and tasks.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle, and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.
  • Monitor and communicate project activities, ensuring the integrity of the information, while providing consistency in "look and feel" across the organization.
  • Implement a project communication plan, following Quility's guidelines and utilizing formalized templates.
  • Help perform risk assessment and implement mitigation plans.
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of project personnel to ensure that projects progress on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, CSM) strongly preferred
  • 2-5 years of progressive experience in project management, with proven success delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and JIRA; familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage conflict, resolve issues, and drive alignment within project environments
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and external vendors to achieve project goals

Work Environment

Remote setting from employee's home. Remote employees may be asked to occasionally travel to Asheville or other locations for meetings and\or training.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
