Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Redwood City, CA 94063 - Hybrid Role - 2 Day onsite

Duration: 12 Months (Extension/Conversion based on performance)

Pay Range: ($58-$62) hourly


Requirements:



  • PMP Certification is highly desired.

  • Bachelor s degree and 8 10 years of experience managing large, complex technical projects.

  • Expertise in project planning, tracking, budgeting, and full project lifecycle management.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional team leadership skills.

  • Ability to balance customer expectations with project realities and manage conflict, risk, and change effectively.

  • Solid understanding of the technical domains needed to deliver IT projects.


Desired Skills:



  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies; strong SDLC knowledge.

  • Ability to build integrated project plans and WBS structures.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills.

  • Experience leading internal and external technical teams and aligning solutions with business goals.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Project, Visio, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, Zoom, and Slack.

  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft, HR systems, IT infrastructure, system integrations, QA/testing, data integration, and web/app architectures


Responsibilities:



  • Manage multiple large, complex technical projects using PM best practices to ensure high-quality delivery.

  • Lead cross-functional teams, balance stakeholder priorities, and exercise sound judgment and decision-making

  • Drive project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk/issue management, and continuous improvement.

  • Partner with sponsors, technical teams, and business leaders to ensure on-time, on-budget project outcomes.

  • Oversee diverse project types, including vendor selection, SaaS implementations, development, infrastructure, and application upgrades.

  • The role is approximately 80% project leadership and 20% technical contribution.
