Job Description
Project Manager Electrical Construction Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical construction projects from preconstruction through final delivery. This role requires strong leadership, client management, and project execution capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, building trust and ensuring clear communication
  • Lead all phases of project execution including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and closeout
  • Manage manpower, materials, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations
  • Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections
  • Support estimating and procurement efforts during preconstruction
  • Monitor financial performance including cash flow, job cost analysis, and profitability
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing electrical construction projects (commercial or industrial)
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, electrical systems, and construction practices
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Word; Primavera experience is a plus
  • OSHA training preferred; PMP certification is a bonus
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
