Project Manager II

Job Summary The Project Manager II is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of multiple concurrent AI product development workstreams. This role involves leading Agile ceremonies, driving disciplined execution across cross-functional teams, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring project outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. The Project Manager will serve as the central point of coordination, translating technical progress into executive updates, aligning on priorities, and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Own and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle across multiple AI product development initiatives. Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports while actively managing risks, blockers, and delivery constraints. Act as the primary point of contact between leadership, engineering teams, vendors, and third-party partnersensuring clear and timely communication. Lead Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and ensure disciplined execution across global AI teams. Translate complex technical progress into executive-ready updates, roadmaps, and summaries, aligning on scope, priorities, and KPIs. Coordinate deliverables across data science, LLM/NLP engineering, ML Ops, and DevOps teams to ensure timelines are achieved. Foster collaboration, clarity, and accountability across a multi-vendor ecosystem supporting enterprise AI strategy. Define activities, milestones, resources, and budgets; optimize costs and time utilization while minimizing waste. Implement governance, risk management, and metrics-driven project management models. Ensure customer satisfaction by managing requirements, scope, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations. Build and nurture high-performing teams by mentoring, resolving conflicts, and ensuring strong engagement. Adopt and implement software delivery best practices and methodologies to ensure quality outcomes. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Masters preferred). 7+ years of project management experience with a proven track record in complex software or AI/ML product delivery. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage technical, operational, and executive conversations. Hands-on experience managing Agile/Scrum software teams, preferably in AI/ML or cloud-native product environments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Comfortable working in fast-evolving, matrixed environments with ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification. Familiarity with healthcare data environments (HIPAA, PHI, payer systems, or benefit structures). Working knowledge of AI/ML technologies such as LLMs, NLP, and retrieval-augmented generation. Proficiency with project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
