Background:
The purpose of this pportunity is to select up to four (4) experienced Project Managers with extensive knowledge of Information Technology (IT) Project Management. The selected professionals must have experience managing complex IT systems and implementation projects, including custom-built, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), modified off-the-shelf (MOTS), and anything-as-a-service (XaaS) products, as well as infrastructure and operations-based projects.

Minimum Technical Qualifications
- At least ten (10) years of Project Management experience, including but not limited to initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and/or closing processes on projects, with at least seven (7) years of that experience as the Sole Project Manager or Lead Project Manager.
- At least five (5) years of experience working on technology software/application projects that followed a formal system development life cycle.
- At least five (5) years of experience as a Sole Project Manager for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS), modified off-the-shelf (MOTS), or anything as a service (XaaS) products.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Sole Project Manager for network infrastructure (cabling, peripherals, audio/visual equipment) or operational/client infrastructure (OS version upgrades, hardware/software deployments, device refreshes, etc.) projects.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Sole or Lead Project Manager working within state and local government.
- At least five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Project to create and manage detailed project schedules.
- At least five (5) years of experience utilizing Microsoft Excel, Visio and other analytical tools.
- At least five (5) years of experience facilitating a formal issue and risk management process.
- At least five (5) years of experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and business units.
Desirable Technical Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of experience in the creation of communication and Organizational Change Management plans and the development and delivery of communication messages to varied stakeholder groups.
- At least five (5) years of experience with Agile delivery in enterprise-wide initiatives.
- At least three (3) years of experience with proprietary methodologies in enterprise-wide initiatives.
- At least three (3) years of experience utilizing Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Project Management related tools (e.g., Clarity, Jama, Microfocus ALM) and techniques to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets customer needs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate or an equivalent project management certificate that requires 60 months of project management experience as a pre-requisite for certification; The client reserves the right to request a copy of the certification.
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited or government sanctioned college/university in a related field. The client reserves the right to request a copy of the degree.
- The proposed project person will be able to adhere to the hybrid working model by working on-site 2-3 days per week at The client Headquarters, West Sacramento, CA.
