Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful completion of complex projects in a dynamic service-oriented environment. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. Based in Westlake, Ohio, the position offers the opportunity to work across diverse industries, including healthcare and insurance, while fostering strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage multifaceted projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and maintain strong relationships.
Develop and implement strategic plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and process improvements.
Facilitate team collaboration and resolve conflicts to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide training and education to clients and teams on processes, tools, and methodologies.
Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on outcomes with detailed documentation.
Apply critical thinking to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions.
Ensure quality standards are met through rigorous attention to detail and continuous improvement practices.
Utilize tools like Atlassian Jira to manage workflows and track project milestones.
Adapt to dynamic schedules and workloads while maintaining organized and efficient project management.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience as a project manager, preferably overseeing complex projects.
Strong background in Healthcare, Property & Casualty, or Pharmacy Benefit Management insurance industries.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and resolve issues effectively.
Expertise in strategic planning, resource utilization, and change management processes.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on documentation and follow-up.
Strong critical thinking abilities and a solution-oriented mindset.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Atlassian Jira and familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies.
