Location & Work Arrangement

  • City, State: Columbia, South Carolina
  • Work Arrangement: Onsite (Required)
  • Contract: This is a Contract position.
  • Residency Requirement: Candidate MUST be a South Carolina resident. No relocation is allowed.
  • Mode of Interview: 1 round, Virtual/Online.

Key Responsibilities and Project Management

Project Leadership and Planning

  • Project Plan Development: Work with the Director, Enterprise Project Manager, and functional leads to develop and/or maintain project plans that guide the SCEIS team in supporting projects for the SC Department of Transportation (DOT) and the State Treasurer's Office (STO).
  • Coordination: Work closely with the Finance and Treasury Team Leads to coordinate project timelines and plans, ensuring synchronization across all SCEIS and partner resources.
  • Project Stability: Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of assigned projects, including managing scope, budget, risk, and resources.
  • Risk Management: Inform SCEIS Management Team of any potential Risks and Issues that may impact deadlines and milestones.

SAP Implementation and Closure

  • SAP Focus: Guide the project implementing SAP FINANCE Management modules and integrating them into the existing SCEIS system (the state's book of record).
  • Documentation & Archiving: At project conclusion, close out each project in a timely and orderly manner, ensuring documentation of lessons learned and archiving of essential project documentation.
  • Best Practices: Recommend project/portfolio management best practices for managing Treasury and FI Projects.
  • Methodology (Preferred): Experience with Agile Methodology.

Required Project Toolset

  • Project Management: Expertise in Microsoft Project (5+ Yrs).
  • Tracking: Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) (Preferred).
  • Process: Experience with Process Mapping (MS Visio) (Preferred).

Experience with Microsoft Project.
