Duration: 12 Months
Pay Scale: W2 - $75/hr on C2C

Role Overview:


We are seeking a Senior Python/Typescript Developer for a pivotal role within our Delta Revenue Integrity project. This project involves the management and processing of passenger bookings through an in-house application. The successful candidate will function as a Tech Lead, guiding teams in application deployment using Python, Typescript, and AWS technologies. While not directly managing reports, this individual will lead in application deployment strategies and oversee technical aspects of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement modular, supportable designs for data streaming, cloud transformation/migration, and API product development.
  • Develop data APIs and delivery services supporting operational and analytical applications.
  • Collaborate with teammates, offering creative solutions and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Document solutions and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Identify and prioritize technical issues, communicating impact to leadership.
  • Work collaboratively with vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies, preferably AWS.
  • Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and PowerShell), and SQL.
  • Familiarity with streaming data, data extraction, and scalable data extraction tools.
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Experience with Kafka, Aurora, AWS Glue, and Redshift is a plus.
  • Understanding of data engineering, real-time streaming, and JSON parsing.
  • Experience with continuous delivery and integration tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.).
  • Ability to build microservices and API architecture.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to collaborate.
  • Embraces diversity and prioritizes safety and security.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Airline Industry experience.
Interview Process:
  • 2-3 rounds, final round onsite.
  • Sample questions to assess experience, responsibilities, and project involvement.
  • Detailed interview debrief to evaluate candidate fit and interest level.
