About the Role
We are seeking a skilled QA Tester with experience in testing data pipelines and analytics solutions on modern data platform like Databricks Silver and Gold layers and Snowflake. The role focuses on ensuring data quality, correctness of transformations, and accuracy of business KPIs across curated and business-ready datasets.
The ideal candidate will have strong PowerBI/Tableau, ETL and SQL testing skills, experience with data quality frameworks, and the ability to validate business aggregations and dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have strong PowerBI/Tableau, ETL and SQL testing skills, experience with data quality frameworks, and the ability to validate business aggregations and dashboards.
Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans for Silver (curated/cleaned) and Gold (business-ready) layers in Databricks.
Transformation and aggregation.
Develop automated data quality checks using frameworks like Pytest.
Perform reconciliation testing between layers (Bronze Silver, Silver Gold).
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
Conduct performance testing of pipelines, queries, partitioning in Databricks.
Ensure compliance with security and access policies (row/column-level security, Unity Catalog).
Document test cases, results, and defects in alignment with Agile sprints.
Contribute to CI/CD integration of automated tests into Databricks pipelines.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for large datasets.
Agile/Scrum experience in sprint-based delivery.
