Who you are:

As a Quality Engineering Manager , you are our leader. In this role, you will oversee and manage software quality engineering teams to maintain multiple projects that support key business initiatives. You will help develop and implement strategy to ensure all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards. What you'll do:
  • Manage software quality engineering teams to maintain multiple projects (Agile & Waterfall) that support key business initiatives
  • Develop and implement strategy to ensure all information systems products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to evaluate the quality of technical processes and products and bring forward opportunities for improvement
  • Develop capacity plan for department resources and assign projects based on prioritized initiatives to ensure efficient operation
  • Synthesize testing results and other measures into meaningful reports to enable technical and business stakeholders to make informed decisions
  • Manage portfolio(s) with end-to-end quality engineering activities - planning, execution, metrics, and improvements
  • Responsible for all testing services required for portfolio to achieve targeted goals with high focus on automation strategies
  • Manage, coach, and develop teams for growth while hosting annual performance reviews to provide feedback and solutions to help improve the team's performance
  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in quality engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in leading quality engineering team
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects/programs and leading a quality engineering team
  • Well-versed in relevant testing methodologies - Functional, Automation, COTs, NFT
  • Advanced knowledge of software process methodologies
  • Experience with multiple functional/regression testing tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications

Additional Preferred Skills:
  • Project management experience
  • 10+ years quality assurance/engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory/lead role
  • Certifications in Agile, Cloud, Testing tools
