Talent Responsibilities

Performs AS9102 or equivalent FAIRs for customers Ensures all quality standards for products are met prior to shipment to customer Assists in root cause investigation and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures Performs verification and effectiveness reviews of corrective actions Helps coordinate and facilitate Customer Source Inspections Employs 8D 5Why's and other Lean tools to enhance Quality and productivity Participates in Lean activities including Kaizen events, 6S audits Participates in ongoing process improvement efforts to ensure design, manufacturing and quality methodologies are effective, efficient, standardized and integrated Can apply standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation, utilizing knowledge Supports efforts to facilitate quality systems compliance and certifications Compiles and writes training material, SOP's, and QC Criteria as required Conducts internal Quality system audits and be involved with CAPA projects All other relevant duties as assigned

Talent Profile

Education: A.S. degree in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline a plus ASQ Certified Inspector or Auditor a plus
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Quality-oriented role within a manufacturing environment
Skills/Knowledge: Certified in ISO / AS9100 preferred Basic computer skills Strong understanding of inspection techniques and methods Attention to detail Capable of handling multiple tasks in parallel SAP and Net-Inspect knowledge is a plus General understanding of ISO quality standards and Quality System Regulations Understanding of AS9100 is a plus Effective written and oral English communication Proficient in data entry and database/records maintenance Solid communication skills and able to work effectively in cross-functional teams Must have the ability to read, understand, and explain engineering drawings/assembly instructions in English Tools: digital caliper, digital micrometer, microscope
Personal Qualifications: Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks Ability to handle change effectively Customer focus and an ability to manage customers and peers with tact and diplomacy Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds Ability to exercise cultural awareness and sensitivity

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the pay range for this role in New Jersey is $24.86 - $29.83 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
