Job Description

seeking a highly skilled Quest Migration Engineer to lead and execute enterprise-scale Active Directory and Exchange migrations using Quest migration tools. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage complex migration projects across multiple domains and environments.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, configure, and execute migrations using Quest Migration Manager and related Quest tools
* Perform Active Directory domain consolidations, Exchange migrations, and hybrid identity integrations
* Troubleshoot migration issues, analyze logs, and implement corrective actions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient migration processes
* Develop and maintain migration documentation, including runbooks and rollback plans
* Provide status updates, metrics, and escalation support to project stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with organizational security and retention policies during migration

Primary Skills
* Quest Migration Manager for Active Directory required
* Quest Migration Manager for Exchange required
* 8 years of experience in Active Directory and Exchange migrations
* Strong knowledge of AD DS, GPOs, DNS, trusts, replication, and SID history
* Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and hybrid identity solutions
* Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Experience:
* Large-scale, multi-domain migration projects
* Familiarity with security hardening and compliance standards
* Experience with coexistence strategies and staged cutovers
