What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining and enhancing existing machine learning software implementations to improve performance and reliability.
- Partnering with field support teams and customers to gather and analyze new technical requirements.
- Designing advanced ML architectures that address diverse problem areas within semiconductor design and EDA.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable seamless integration and complex workflows across Synopsys tools.
- Optimizing software for GPU hardware to accelerate computation and resource efficiency.
- Driving the adoption and integration of large language models (LLMs) and generative AI within core product offerings.
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.

What You'll Need:
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong desire to explore new technologies.
- Expert-level programming in C++ and Python, with deep familiarity in data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with numerical computation and optimization for hardware acceleration (e.g., GPU).
- Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning techniques, architectures, and their real-world applications.
- Experience with ChatGPT, LLMs, and generative AI in software engineering contexts.
- Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Math, or related fields with 3+ years of experience, or PhD in related fields.
