What You Will Do

As a key member of our hardware design team, you will have the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment, collaborating with cross-functional RF, Digital, and mechanical design engineering teams. You will be instrumental in the development and validation of our GNSS products, contributing to various stages from design support to testing and reporting. • Support RF design through critical component research and characterization.
• Read and interpret engineering specification documents to inform your work.
• Design and verify necessary PCB boards and test fixture assemblies.
• Learn and execute current test methods and procedures for EVT, DVT, PVT, and RMAs.
• Utilize your skills to automate design engineering validation tests using Python.
• Organize and report test results effectively.
• Manage test validation efforts for multiple products.

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a preferred emphasis on RF, Analog, or Communications.
• At least one year of experience with RF engineering, which can include school projects and internships.
• The ability to read and design schematics and experience with PCB CAD layout.
• Experience with Python or another programming language for test automation and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with general lab equipment (e.g., power supplies, oscilloscopes) and RF instruments (e.g., VNA, Spectrum Analyzer), along with circuit theory knowledge. This experience could come from projects, internships, the classroom, labs.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and talented engineer to join our hardware design team. The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate to 3+ years experience who has been exposed to multiple engineering disciplines and is comfortable working in a hands-on environment. The role will work closely with cross-functional RF, Digital, and mechanical design engineering teams on development and validation of GNSS products.

Key Responsibilities:

• RF Design support. Critical component research and characterization.
• Read engineering specification documents.
• Design and verify necessary PCB boards, and test fixture assemblies
• Learn and run current test methods and procedures for EVT, DVT, PVT, RMAs
• Ability to automate design engineering validation tests using python
• Organize and report test results
• Able to manage multiple products test validation efforts.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, emphasis on RF, Analog or Communications preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with RF engineering (school projects and internships apply)

Qualifications:

• Able to read and design schematics. PCB CAD layout.
• Able to document and follow detailed test instructions.
• Experience with Python (or other language) for test automation & data analysis.
• Experiences with:
  • RF instruments: VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator.
  • Circuit Theory - RF Amplifiers, RF Mixers, Lumped Element Filters, S-Parameters, Analog
  • RF Receiver Performance Metrics: Gain, Noise Figure, Intermodulation
  • General lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering irons.
• Able to work under a microscope and solder 0402 and 0201 surface mount parts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

• Python, MS Office, Cadence CIS Schematic Capture, Allegro PCB Design Experience
