Job Title: React Developer

Location: 4 World Trade Centre, NY (51st floor) (2 days a week hybrid)

Duration: Contract 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented React Developer responsible for building and maintaining high-performing, scalable web applications using React.js. The ideal candidate should have strong front-end development skills, a deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks, and experience in delivering responsive user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js and related technologies.

  • Build reusable, efficient, and modular components that enhance application performance.

  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces.

  • Work closely with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.

  • Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development.

  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

  • Collaborate with Agile teams during sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a React Developer or Front-End Developer.

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and React.js ecosystem.

  • Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Context API, or MobX.

  • Hands-on experience with front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn.

  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and responsive design principles.

  • Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating backend services.

  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).

  • Experience in writing unit tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar frameworks.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with TypeScript in React projects.

  • Knowledge of Next.js or server-side rendering frameworks.

  • Experience with component libraries such as Material-UI, Ant Design, or Bootstrap.

  • Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and tools like Lighthouse.

  • Experience in integrating CI/CD pipelines.

  • Exposure to cloud services such as AWS or Azure.

  • Understanding of web security best practices (XSS, CSRF, etc.).
