Job Details

Genesis10 is seeking a Reinsurance Business Solutions Analyst for a 6 month contract with a Global P&C/Reinsurance agency. This is a hybrid position with a preference for a local candidate to be onsite 3 days a week in Warren, NJ, but open to remote workers in Eastern or Central time zones. W2 Pay Range $70-80/hr.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform Business Analyst responsibilities for a Reinsurance Administration application which provides a comprehensive solution across the Reinsurance lifecycle of Underwriting, Claims, and Accounting.
  • Gathering requirements and documenting Functional Specifications and User Interface documentation.
  • Documenting as-is business processes using Microsoft Visio.
  • Defining and documenting to-be business processes.
  • Acting as the liaison between Business and IT.
  • Collaborating with internal teams for analyzing cross-functional impacts and defining integration requirements.
  • Providing support for QA testing and User Acceptance testing and defect resolution.
  • Managing the backlog of enhancement requests in JIRA. Work with Business to prioritize enhancements.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years Business Analyst experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years working in Reinsurance, with solid Reinsurance Underwriting and/or Reinsurance Claims Business Acumen.
  • Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders on large initiatives.
  • Experience with the DXC SICS Application a plus.
