Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Developer to join our integration team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying integration solutions using Oracle Service Bus and related Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies. You will play a key role in building scalable and secure service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions that support our enterprise applications.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for a project or application and serves as the system architecture authority within that scope.
  • Defines technology-based business solutions within the scope of the project and assists teams in the appropriate use of technology.
  • Reviews and approves design decisions, within established authority, prior to implementation.
  • Advises client management on IT vision, strategy, technology innovations, and enterprise architecture services.
  • Provides production problem diagnosis and technical support, including offshore strategy and process support.
  • Leads or reviews system design activities to ensure performance, security, scalability, maintainability, reusability, and reliability.
  • Assists in preparing IT vision and strategy documents, technology/product analysis, white papers, and responses to management queries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Design and develop integration solutions using Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
  • Implement message transformation, routing, and mediation using XSLT, XQuery, and XPath.
  • Develop and manage WSDLs, XML schemas, and service contracts.
  • Integrate OSB with various systems including databases, web services (SOAP/REST), and enterprise applications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot OSB services and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain documentation for integration processes and services.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Resource should have 7+ Years of experience
  • Six or more years of information technology experience.
  • Experience with Oracle Service Bus, including administration, development, and solutioning.
  • Experience with appropriate programming languages, operating systems, hardware, and software.
  • Familiarity with the interface between IT and functional business groups.
  • Experience with technology used in a specific industry or business area.
  • Experience working with at least one Catalyst domain.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Oracle certifications in SOA or Middleware technologies.
  • Experience with Oracle SOA Suite, BPEL, and WebLogic Server.
  • Familiarity with cloud integration platforms (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft).
  • Knowledge of security standards (OAuth, SSL, WS-Security).
  • Experience with DevOps tools.
