Location: Gainesville, GA, 30507 (Hybrid)

Type: Full Time Permanent

***Hybrid with 2 to 3 days in the office - Relocation available

Summary:

Oversee a team of Data Analysts, Reporting Business Analysts, and Integration Developers in designing, developing, and managing business intelligence solutions, including reports and dashboards. Collaborate with various departments to understand organizational needs, prioritize projects, and mentor team members on Business Intelligence concepts. Responsible for scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, dashboards, and self-service analytics using Epic native tools.

Qualifications:

  • Certified in Epic Clinical or Revenue Data Model (or obtain within 1 year of hire)
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Work experience in a hospital setting delivering BI.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in BI and analytic reporting software, with a preference for EPIC, SQL, Crystal/SSRS Report development, Qlik Sense, Astrato and project management
  • Minimum 3 years of managerial experience leading a highly productive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage BI developers and analysts using Agile methodologies.
  • Create standard and custom reports using Epic Cogito BI tools, SSRS Reports, and Workday ERP Reporting tools.
  • Lead the team in designing efficient reports using stored procedures and summary tables.
  • Develop a strategy for Self-Service Analytics using Epic's Slicer Dicer
  • Collaborate with the Director of Data and Analytics on data security and integrity policies.
  • Set priorities for the BI team, ensuring excellent user support and adherence to best practices.
  • Lead the implementation of the report request and development process.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of a self-service reporting program.
  • Manage customer relationships and train staff on policies and procedures.
  • Oversee upgrade, update, or enhancement efforts for Epic BI tools.
  • Support the evaluation and implementation of new methods and technologies.
  • Establish annual performance goals for the team and hold members accountable.
  • Participate in daily Tiered readiness huddles and escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain key documents and technical specifications for solutions.
  • Troubleshoot reporting applications and development tools.
  • Provide input into IT policies, Strategic Plan, and annual IT budget.
