RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Research Analyst in Juno Beach, FL.
Overview:
As a Researcher/Business Analyst, you will collect and use data to analyze business information, sustainability commitments, appetite for renewable energy, corporate environmental goals and targets, industry association memberships, and other relevant factors that give insight into company operations. You will also help determine how to effectively support our targeting database. You will assist with creating methodologies for rankings and visualizing data interpretation, data organization, cleanup, and QC. The primary responsibility of the position will be open-source research with the intent towards data conversion, utilization, integration, and vetting of commercial market intelligence data across multiple platforms, as well as developing strategies and solutions that enable the team to achieve its goals. The Research Analyst will be working with cross-functional teams to ensure that team objectives are met, and projects are delivered on-time.
Primary responsibilities include:
* This is a research focused position; We will be focused on finding information to support sales organization through market intelligence
* Developing tools that present/visualize the collected research in impactful ways for other groups to consume and utilize
* Systematic ESG data gathering from company disclosures (e.g. sustainability reports, annual reports); ESG data processing, research, and analysis; Must have an in-depth understanding of and strong interest in macro-level ESG and decarbonization issues
* Responsible for tracking and monitoring developments and trends in various sectors of specialization and assessing the ESG impact of those companies on the overall sector
REQUIREMENTS:
* This job requires a very curious nature; Someone who actively desires to seek out answers, find complex solutions, always seeking to know more about as many subjects as possible
* Must be highly skilled in Excel, additional points for data management, data visualization, or data structure/strategy skills
* Familiarity with sustainability, decarbonization and related technologies, energy and renewables, market research, or engineering are all plusses; This is an interdisciplinary group; You'll need to learn other products and subject matter fields eventually
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently while supporting the team's objectives; Driving your area forward to support the team's direction
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
