Job Title: Senior Program Manager- Retail Logistics

Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking a Seasoned Program Manager with a strong background in Retail, Logistics, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and particularly Manhattan Associates platform implementations. This role requires a high-impact leader who can operate at both strategic and tactical levels managing program-level execution while being technically sound to engage engineering and implementation teams directly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end program management for WMS/Logistics initiatives, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
  • Act as the single point of contact for Manhattan WMS implementations, overseeing system design, testing, and go-live activities.
  • Zoom in: Work closely with solution architects, engineering, and implementation teams to understand technical deliverables and interdependencies.
  • Zoom out: Own the broader program vision, including defining roadmaps, tracking financial impact, and managing executive stakeholder communication.
  • Define, manage, and track flight plans, budgets, resource allocations, and key milestones.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Ensure risk identification and mitigation strategies are proactively implemented.
  • Drive governance through regular status reports, dashboards, and business reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of Program/Project Management experience, with at least 3+ years leading large-scale WMS/logistics technology initiatives.
  • Deep familiarity with Manhattan WMS platform implementations (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes, warehousing, distribution, and supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience managing multi-million dollar programs with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills ability to engage with both technical teams and C-level stakeholders.
  • Solid experience with program planning tools, budgeting, and executive reporting.

Nice to Have:

  • PMP, Agile or SAFe certifications.
  • Background in technical roles prior to moving into program management.
  • Retail, E-commerce, or 3PL industry experience.

Location Requirement:

This role is Hybrid onsite - 4 days per week at North Point, San Francisco, CA. Local or willing-to-relocate candidates only who can come for 4 days per week Onsite.
