Job Title: Retail Vendor Manager I

Location:Culver City, CA (Onsite - 5 days a week)

Duration:10 months (potential for extension or conversion not guaranteed)

Work Schedule:Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)

Job Description:

Client offering immersive audio and retail experiences that connect fans, artists, and creators. The platform provides access to music, podcasts, livestreams, and artist merchandise, delivering innovative solutions at the intersection of music and culture.

The Vendor Manager will be a passionate customer and brand advocate with strong analytical capabilities, project management skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize. This role supports the Vendor Management team, which operates as P&L owners and hands-on operators managing some of the world s top brands.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, passionate about driving customer-centric outcomes, and have a proven track record of delivering business results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the business owner for assigned categories, ensuring optimal product listings and customer experience.

  • Support the creation of promotions, monitor and analyze results to achieve business objectives.

  • Identify selection gaps and work with vendors to resolve them.

  • Understand customer needs to advocate for features that enhance the shopping experience.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively while meeting deadlines.

  • Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities to exceed revenue and profitability targets.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree (business or fashion merchandising preferred; any bachelor s degree required).

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail merchandising or vendor management.

  • Vendor management experience is required.

  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

  • Excellent presentation, organizational, and account management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.

  • Strong database and computer skills.

  • Proven track record of ownership and delivering results.

  • Experience in process improvement, pricing, and selection strategy.

  • Experience in online retail or e-commerce.

  • Knowledge of Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.

  • Experience in apparel or licensing.

  • Former experience with a leading global e-commerce company is a strong plus.
