Job Title: SAP ABAP Technical Consultant S/4HANA

Location: Fremont, CA

Duration: 12+ Month contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementations, custom developments, and system migrations. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge across core SAP modules and be capable of delivering scalable, efficient, and integrated business solutions using modern SAP technologies such as RAP, CDS Views, Fiori/UI5, and OData.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and enhance custom objects in SAP S/4HANA across modules such as SD, MM, PP, FI, CO, EWM, and TM
  • Lead technical migration of legacy programs from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, ensuring adherence to new data models and architecture
  • Develop CDS Views, OData Services, and build applications using Fiori / SAPUI5 and RAP
  • Create and maintain technical objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (WRICEF)
  • Implement enhancements using User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Points, and BRF+
  • Integrate SAP with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and Web Services
  • Customize and develop Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, and legacy forms as needed
  • Collaborate with functional teams to review functional specifications and translate them into robust technical designs
  • Conduct performance tuning, code optimization, and thorough debugging using ABAP Workbench tools
  • Document all developments and maintain compliance with project and organizational standards

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Over all 12+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA projects
  • Expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDP, and ABAP OO
  • Solid understanding of SAP Data Dictionary, modularization techniques, and object-oriented design
  • Experience in Fiori App Development, SAPUI5, OData, and the RAP model
  • Knowledge of FICO processes (especially AR, AP, and Treasury) is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with SAP enhancement framework, workflows, and data migration tools like BDC and LSMW
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Exposure to SAP BTP, CAP, or other cloud-based extensions
  • Certification in ABAP for S/4HANA or SAP Fiori
