Job Description:
SAP Basis admin with 3 years experience in managing Hana DB, 8 or more years in SAP administration, would be responsible for providing support and manage, monitor SAP applications running on HANA db, ASE, SQL Server databases.
Provide user support, manage major incident calls, document the issues, solution and complete root cause analysis report.
Willing to receive, make and join calls with Jabil resources worldwide, support during weekends, assist during maintenance windows, project golive.
Support during Eastern time zone
Experience in managing sap jobs directly in SAP and in Redwood job scheduler
Experience in setting up printers.
Install manage SAP Java systems, upgrade, patch and work with DBA and infrastructure team.
Follow change management process, work with other service providers.
Knowledge in SAP Solution manager alert configuration and charm process.
Provide oncall support, monitor service tickets, incidents respond and maintain sla. Respond to emails and messages.
Knowledge in SAP BTP, Fiori, Enterprise Portal, NWDI
Experience using trace utilities and analyze log file, HANA studio, DBA cockpit, analyze and dumps for memory and CPU consumption, provide solution to issues.
Experience in setting up, managing Disaster Recovery system for SAP Hana, SQL Server, MaxDB SAP Content servers.
Work with Project Managers to understand any unique SAP Basis requirements and provides solutions in implementing required changes into our current Jabil SAP system. Evaluate proactively upcoming projects and look for threshold issues where changes would be made to facilitate the new requirements without impacting current user load.
Responsible for proactive evaluation of current system and business processes to provide capacity planning, efficiency and process improvements.
Involved in SAP GUI rollouts and management. Facilitate the execution and management Solution Manager. Document and troubleshoot SAP interfaces, issues and solution applied.
Participate in the exchange of ideas and information within the department.
Provide regular updates to appropriate managers. Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management.
Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant. Offer new ideas and suggestions for improvement. Identify and implement new practices after discussion and management approval.
Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
Confer with reporting manager on complex or unusual situations. Exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies, procedures (i.e. Health, Safety and Quality) and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas pertaining to data and proprietary information, whether internal to Jabil or customer specific and to IT systems
