Baer is looking for SAP CI FICA Architect for a 3+ month project located in Atlanta, GA
Title: SAP CI FICA Architect
Location: Hybrid Atlanta, GA (3 days on site)
Duration: 3 months
Rate: All-Inclusive
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Description:

• Lead the architecture and implementation of SAP FICA and Convergent Invoicing (CI) solutions.
• Drive and support end-to-end SAP BRIM projects, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, and deployment.
• Configure and optimize FICA processes such as: Main/Sub transactions, Clearing rules, Dunning, Security deposits, Payment clearings and hierarchy and Refunds, returns, write-offs, and installment plans
• Configure and monitor Convergent Invoicing: Billable items creation and processing, Scheduling and execution of billing and invoicing, Grouping, aggregation, and invoice output generation and Reversals and CC-CI integration
• Troubleshoot and support BIT (Billable Item) generation and processing.
• Ensure proper integration with SAP FI/AR, tax systems, and third-party/non-SAP platforms.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure accurate delivery of financial processes.
• Customize events and implement enhancements within CI and FICA as per business needs.
• Provide expertise in prepaid and postpaid configurations and support various billing models.
• Work closely with clients to gather requirements and deliver solutions aligned to business goals.

Requirements:

• 7 15 years of experience in SAP FICA/CI architecture roles.
• At least 5 full-cycle implementations of SAP BRIM with strong FICA and CI experience.
• Strong understanding of SAP BRIM components: SOM, CC, CI, FICA.
• Proven experience in FICA configuration, billing, dunning, payments, and FI integration.
• Hands-on experience with Convergent Invoicing processes, including CC integration and invoice output customization.
• Deep knowledge of BIT processing, billing reversals, and error handling.
• Experience in SAP FICO is an added advantage.
• Exposure to SAP FICA enhancements, mass run configuration, and scheduling.
• Familiarity with government compliance, tax integrations, and external system interfaces.
• Understanding of Subscription Order Management (SOM) and its interaction with CI/FICA is beneficial.
• Bachelor s degree in Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Master s or postgraduate degree in Finance is a plus.
