SAP Consultant

This role focuses on the implementation of global and local value chain digitalization strategies and roadmaps within a product division in the United States. You will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement through business process harmonization and simplification, ensuring upstream and downstream alignment.

You will serve as a key resource in ensuring business applications are fit for purpose and that the key user community is well-trained and proficient.

Responsibilities

• Support global and local business digitalization transformation strategy through project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify value stream improvement opportunities and translate business needs into Information System demand requirements.
• Lead user acceptance testing and system cutover activities.
• Actively collaborate with business stakeholders, key users, and internal/external IS delivery teams to ensure robust and reliable business application solutions.
• Manage assigned projects with quality, following established project management guidelines.
• Learn factory transformation target processes and technology, proactively supporting solutions and driving continuous improvements.
• Serve as a process lead in one or more value chain functional areas to ensure fit-for-purpose ERP and non-ERP business system solutions, as well as end-to-end process efficiency.

Background

• 8+ years of experience with SAP, ERP implementation, and business process transformation is preferred.
• Solid knowledge of SAP MM and WM functionalities and the discrete manufacturing market.
• Knowledge of business processes in production, supply chain, sales operations, or quality management.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
• A Bachelor's or higher degree in Information System, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written communication.
• United States Citizen or Green Card holder is required.
