Data Conversion Specialist SAP PM / Plan-to-Produce (A&D Industry Experience Required)

Onsite Seattle WA

Lead and execute data conversion activities for SAP PM and P2P-related objects (equipment, maintenance plans, work orders, materials, BOMs, routings, etc.).
Collaborate with functional teams and business users to gather requirements, map legacy data, and define conversion rules.
Design and build ETL processes and support data cleansing and transformation efforts.
Validate data quality and completeness through testing, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
Coordinate with SAP functional teams to align conversion processes with system configuration and business logic.
Support mock loads, data validation cycles, and cutover planning.
Ensure all conversion activities adhere to A&D regulatory compliance, data governance standards, and security protocols.

Required Skills & Experience:

Experience in SAP data conversion/migration roles. Strong working knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Plan-to-Produce (P2P) processes.
Hands-on experience with data objects such as equipment, functional locations, task lists, maintenance orders, BOMs, routings, and materials.
Proficiency in using data migration tools and methodologies (e.g., LSMW, BODS, SAP Data Services, CPI-DS, custom scripts).
Mandatory: Prior experience working in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry, with familiarity in ITAR, export control, or related regulatory frameworks.
Strong data analysis, mapping, and reconciliation skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
