Job Title: SAP Data Migration Expert

Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking a highly experienced SAP Data Migration Expert to lead and execute data migration activities for a large-scale SAP S/4HANA (SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA) transformation initiative. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ECC (ERP Central Component) and S/4HANA data structures, advanced migration techniques, and strong collaboration with both technical and business teams. Ideal candidates will be hands-on with tools such as LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit) and SAP Data Services, and capable of managing migration across multiple functional modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of data migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define migration scope, success metrics, and schedules.
- Utilize SAP tools such as LTMC, SAP Data Services, LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench), and Migration Cockpit to perform end-to-end data migration.
- Conduct data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
- Ensure compliance and data integrity across the entire migration lifecycle.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for mappings, test cases, and cutover plans.
- Report progress and risk mitigation strategies to leadership.
- Mentor junior staff and share best practices in data governance and master data management.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 7+ years of SAP data migration experience with at least 3 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Hands-on experience with LTMC, LSMW, and SAP Data Services or Informatica.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data models, including modules such as FI (Financial Accounting), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
- Skilled in SQL (Structured Query Language), Microsoft Excel, and data profiling tools.
- Familiarity with functional and technical table-level changes between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience with at least one ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tool.
- Functional expertise in one or more SAP modules.
- Timekeeping experience using Kronos.
Preferred:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- SAP S/4HANA certification.
- Experience applying AI (Artificial Intelligence) or ML (Machine Learning) to improve data quality.
- Experience in cloud-based SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
Contract Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)
- Work Schedule: 1st shift, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Location: Charlotte, NC Onsite for the first 3 months, then hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
- Pay Rate: $60 to $75 per hour (W-2)
