Job Overview
client is seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Datasphere / Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC) Consultant to join our onsite team in Newark, CA. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP DWC, Datasphere, and strong financial reporting experience, with proven ability to design, build, and manage scalable data models and reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP Datasphere (DWC) solutions.
- Design and manage data models, task chains, hierarchies, and financial reporting structures within DWC.
- Work extensively with Data Builder and Business Builder to define and manage semantic models and transformations.
- Integrate and align Datasphere data with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for advanced reporting and dashboarding.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to design scalable data solutions supporting financial and operational reporting.
- Optimize data pipelines and workflows to ensure accuracy, performance, and governance in DWC.
- Work on data harmonization, hierarchy management, and complex reporting use cases.
- Provide technical guidance and best practices to junior team members.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere (SAP DWC).
- Strong expertise in SAP Datasphere (Datasphere experience is mandatory).
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting, hierarchy management, task chains, data builder, and business builders.
- Hands-on expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) integration with DWC.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP DWC connectivity to external systems like S/4HANA, Salesforce, Tableau, etc.
- Hands-on experience using Tableau as a presentation layer for DWC.
- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA or legacy SAP BW systems for integration use cases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 12+ years overall IT experience with at least 4+ years in SAP DWC/Datasphere.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to work onsite in Newark, CA.
