SAP EWM Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & SME Role
  • Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP EWM, providing authoritative guidance on best practices, functional capabilities, and industry trends.
  • Lead end-to-end solution design for supply chain processes, mapping business requirements to SAP standard functionalities.
• SAP Modules & Integration
  • Drive solution design and validation across SAP S4HANA ERP modules: MM, SD, PP, WM, EWM, TM.
  • Provide expertise on SAP Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Guided Buying, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance).
  • Ensure smooth integration between SAP Ariba S4HANA/ECC and other supply chain modules.
• Project Lifecycle
  • Participate in all project phases: discovery, design, build, testing (SIT, UAT), training, deployment, and hypercare.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation (design docs, test scripts, training materials).
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and training for business and technical teams.
• Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Finance, Master Data, ABAP, Integration, OCM, and Testing teams to ensure holistic, integrated solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of SAP Supply Chain consulting experience.
  • At least 3 5+ years of deep expertise in SAP EWM.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM, SD, PP processes and configuration.
  • Minimum 3 5+ years of experience with SAP Ariba (Sourcing, Contracts, Buying, Guided Buying, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance).
  • Strong understanding of integration points between Ariba and S4HANA/ECC.
  • At least 2 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations as Solution Architect/Lead.
  • S4HANA implementation experience highly preferred (ECC experience valuable).
• Skills:
  • Expert-level functional configuration in SAP Supply Chain modules.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, order-to-cash, and production processes.
  • Ability to create functional specifications for WRICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Ability to read/debug ABAP code (nice-to-have).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
