The Senior Functional Finance FI Analyst provides expert-level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design. They design and configure business processes in SAP FI to automate the management and external reporting of the general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management; and support posting periods.

- 10 or more years of SAP experience
- Subject matter expertise in the SAP Financial Accounting (SAP FI)
- Ability to independently handle full FI/CO configurations and integration with SAP MM, SD, FM, & PS
- Expertise in configuring, managing, and executing activities related to the periodic and annual financial closing processes in SAP FICO
- Strong organization and communication skills to work with business teams to understand requirements and create/review user stories, functional specifications, and test documents
- Bachelor's Degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree.
- Must be able to clear a DoD clearance
- Analyzing, configuring, and optimizing the SAP FI module to meet customer requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to support posting periods
- Implementing system enhancements
- Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules
- Providing leadership to large teams of functional or technical personnel
- 5 or more years SAP FI experience
- Knowledge of and experience with DoD and/or Navy ERP and IT architectures
- Federal experience
- Understanding of change management processes and agile methodologies.
- Experience in the software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance) implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions
