Title: SAP FICO Architect
Location: Hybrid (50% remote) - 50% travel to client site
Duration: Full Time Expenses will be taken care for traveling.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional lead to drive our business transformation with SAP implementations, ensuring the alignment of our business strategy with IT solutions. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of SAP S4 HANA public cloud, FICO modules, technologies and business processes, and the ability to integrate these into tailored, efficient solutions that support our organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Review Design and develop scalable, flexible SAP solutions that meet business requirements. This includes blueprinting, road mapping, and solution design across various SAP modules (such as S/4HANA FICO, Group reporting, BDC and NonSAP entities like COUPA etc.) in conjunction with system implementation partner.
Project Leadership: Lead SAP implementation, upgrade, and migration projects. Oversee the entire lifecycle from requirement gathering, solution design, to post-go-live support ensuring project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
Integration and Customization: Ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions with existing systems, both SAP and non-SAP. Customize SAP modules to fit business processes while adhering to best practices and standards.
Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate these into technical solutions, and manage expectations regarding functionality, performance, and scalability.
Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance on SAP functions/features, including cloud solutions like SAP HANA, SAP BTP, and integration platforms. Advice on best practices for data management, security, and compliance.
Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze system performance, recommend and implement enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
Training and Mentorship: Guide and mentor Business process owners, SMEs, conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP upgrades and enhancements.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on solutions, configurations, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in SAP functional lead roles.
Proven track record in multiple full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of SAP modules like S/4HANA, BDC, BW/BI, CRM, SRM, etc.
Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP).
Familiarity with SAP Public cloud platforms and others like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Strong leadership and project management skills.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
Certifications: SAP certifications relevant to the roles (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate or Professional in various modules) are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP's latest innovations and trends.
Knowledge of agile methodologies or other project management frameworks.
Experience in a global, multi-cultural environment.
