SAP Finance Data Migration Architect - Insurance Industry
Position Type: Long Term Contract
Location: Remote with Occasional Onsite Requirements
The Role:
Madiba is currently in search for a SAP Finance Architect for our team. The role will be responsible for architecting and designing a financial transformation from a legacy Oracle system into a SAP S/4HANA solution. Strong background within the Insurance domain is highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience architecting/designing Financial data migration from non-SAP environment (Oracle) into a SAP S/4HANA ecosystem.
- Senior SAP FICO functional experience and excellent understanding of finance business processes within the Insurance domain
- Experience within ACDOCA (Universal Journal) - consolidating data from various previous tables, including General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Profitability Analysis
- Knowledge of Accounting/Finance business processes and of SAP FICO integration with GL, AP, AR, AA, BA, SL and other modules
- Familiar with SAP FPSL (Financial Products Subledger) and SAP FS-RI (Reinsurance Contract Management) is ideal
- Perform and lead system testing
- Knowledge of Insurance industry regulations and data standards
- Integration point configuration experience
- Strong knowledge of ASAP Methodology, System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), service-oriented architecture and Enterprise Application Integration tools
- Ability to effectively coordinate and manage cross-functional and technical activities with strong negotiation and leadership skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-10 years relevant experience supporting and implementing global SAP S/4HANA solutions
- Experience within Insurance Industry regulations and data standards
- Strong understanding of ACDOCA (Universal Journal) within S/4HANA
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Information Systems
- Excellent project and team leadership experiences
- CPA, Chartered ACC or related certification a plus
- Certification in SAP FI/CO and other modules is highly desired
