Job Title: SAP Group Reporting Functional Lead
Location: Cumberland, RI (Hybrid must be onsite for meetings as needed; preference for local candidates)
Duration: 12 months (with possible extension or conversion)

Position Overview

We are seeking a SAP Group Reporting Functional Lead to join Client s Application Development team. The consultant will play a critical role in the SAP Consolidation Initiative, driving end-to-end configuration, optimization, and support for SAP Financial Consolidation and Group Reporting. This role requires strong functional expertise in SAP Group Reporting and the ability to collaborate with both U.S.-based and offshore team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Group Reporting solutions.

  • Configure company codes, ledgers, FS items, rates, and ownership structures for consolidation.

  • Implement currency translation and data preparation stages to ensure accurate reporting.

  • Manage consolidation of investments and ownership structures.

  • Develop and maintain models in the consolidation monitor.

  • Oversee master data management and balance carry-forward processes.

  • Optimize performance of the group reporting process for efficiency and scalability.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to support financial consolidation and reporting needs.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to a global team of 25+ (5 dedicated to this initiative).

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of SAP Finance experience with a focus on Group Reporting and Financial Consolidation.

  • Proven hands-on experience with end-to-end configuration of SAP Group Reporting.

  • Strong expertise in consolidation processes, including investment and ownership handling.

  • Experience with currency translation, data preparation, and consolidation monitor.

  • Ability to manage and optimize large-scale financial reporting processes.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work with onshore, nearshore, and offshore teams.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
