Role: SAP H/R Functional Consultant: SuccessFactors, S/4 Integrations & Datasphere
Location: Remote US Based (minor travel may come up over 12 months client reimbursed)
Duration: 12 Months Contract
This job description outlines the role of an H/R Functional Consultant responsible for the implementation, configuration, and integration of SAP solutions across the human resources landscape. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA, with a strong focus on data synchronization and analytics. This role is critical for bridging the gap between HR business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and robust reporting capabilities.
Responsibilities
Integration and Configuration:
- Configure and manage the H/R mini-master in SAP S/4HANA to facilitate the replication of essential employee data from SuccessFactors.
- Design and implement integration solutions between SuccessFactors, S/4HANA, and other third-party systems using tools like SAP Integration Suite (formerly CPI).
- Provide expert guidance on best practices for data replication, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and security across all integrated systems.
Data and Analytics:
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle, from source systems to the analytics platform's Data Lake and SAP Datasphere.
- General data validation and regression testing of integrations.
- Implement tools and processes that ensure governed access and data management policies.
Consulting and Support:
- Act as a subject matter expert for SAP H/R solutions, translating business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
- Conduct business process analysis, identify gaps, and propose solutions that align with SAP best practices.
- Lead testing efforts, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the implemented solutions meet all business requirements.
- Create and deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support for HR teams and end-users.
- Assistance and contribution to cutover planning and deployment activities during test phases and eventual production go-live.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience:
- Proven experience as an SAP H/R Functional Consultant.
- Direct experience with H/R mini-master configuration, data replication, and validation between SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
- Demonstrated experience with H/R data governance, policies, and procedures (i.e. GDPR, PII)
- Data Lake and reporting scenarios leveraging H/R data.
- Experience with data integration technologies like SAP Integration Suite is a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of HR business processes, including personnel administration, organizational management, and payroll.
- General understanding of SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA H/R module configuration.
- Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot integration and data-related issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
