Job Details

Looking for a senior SAP IBP Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) functional consultant for a greenfield project.

As an SAP IBP S&OP Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for configuring and optimizing the SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solution specifically related to sales and operations planning (S&OP).

<>Responsibilities:</>

  1. IBP Model Configuration:

    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand S&OP requirements.
    • Configure IBP planning areas, including time profiles, key figure calculations, copy/disaggregation operators, attributes, and versions.
    • Set up jobs and forecast error calculations.

  2. Forecasting Models:

    • Implement different forecasting models using various algorithms.
    • Evaluate and select the most suitable forecasting approach based on business needs.

  3. Integration with CI-DS:

    • Work closely with CI-DS (Cloud Integration for Data Services) integration consultants.
    • Ensure smooth inbound and outbound data integrations between IBP and other systems.

  4. Upgrades and Maintenance:

    • Handle IBP upgrades and planned activities.
    • Coordinate with IBP planners to address system-related issues.

  5. Technical Specifications:

    • Consult with ABAP developers to provide technical specifications for customized data integration.
    • Perform unit testing of changes (configuration, custom development, etc.) in development and staging environments.
    • Conduct regression testing to verify functionality impacted by changes.

  • Bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and S&OP concepts.
  • Proficiency in SAP IBP, including demand planning and control tower functionalities.
  • Experience with CI-DS integration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Expenses will be paid to non-local candidates. Locals are preferred. It is a hybrid opportunity with an average of 2 days on-site.
