Job Description
Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is seeking a seasoned SAP MDG Principal Consultant for an onsite role across several major U.S. hubs. This full-time position requires deep technical expertise and the ability to guide teams through the full lifecycle of SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) implementations.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to define future-state architecture and execute MDG projects from design through deployment. Responsibilities include conducting blueprinting sessions, translating business needs into technical specifications, and configuring various elements of the MDG framework including data models, UI components, process flows, rules, derivations, and BRF+ logic.
This role requires significant experience in replication configuration (IDocs, RFC, Web Services), UI modeling (value restrictions, hyperlinks, push buttons), and customization of MDG workflows. Candidates must be proficient in working with ERP master data structures, designing synchronization mechanisms, and implementing complex validation logic.
Additional responsibilities include developing solution recommendations, preparing test scripts, leading system integration testing (SIT), and supporting cutover activities. Familiarity with key/value mapping and experience using tools like Floor Plan Manager, WD ABAP, and BRF+ decision tables will be highly valued.
This is a great opportunity to contribute to large-scale SAP MDG initiatives while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
