Technical Skills:

• Subject Matter Expert in deploying and managing secure and scalable virtual machines and managed databases on major cloud platforms, such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
• Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve instance, software, and networking issues at a Level 3 tech acumen
• Knowledge of security tooling and ability to troubleshoot and apply security agents and hardening configurations
• Experience in architecting highly scalable distributed systems, using different open-source tools.
• Experience in working on Cloud Distributed Storage/Databases and Distributed Data Processing platforms
• Expert level proficiency in managing Red Hat Linux, and Windows Server.
• Provision and configure cloud assets using scripts, APIs, CLIs and management console.
• Professional Exposure to Dev Ops release and build management, automation scripts experience with tools like Git, bash scripting, PowerShell, AWS Cloud Formation, Ansible, Salt, Chef or Puppet.
• Experience in migrations of existing workloads to the cloud.
• Ability to recommend the best-in-class architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the Customer.
• System architecture experience over the configuration of Identity & Access Management, Networking, File Transfers, Security, Load Balancing and disaster recovery.
• Experience in analyzing and applying security best practices to all enterprise related technologies.
• Expertise in operating system configuration & security fundamentals and assist in risk and compliance standards adherence.

• Deep understanding of computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging computing trends
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through.
• Internally recognized senior on complex technical and business matter
• Responsible for delivery of outcome of assigned projects or areas of responsibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to connect technology with measurable business value.
• Ability to influence highly skilled technical leaders and thinkers beyond direct reporting lines.

• Strong team, interpersonal, analytical, problem identification and resolution skills.

• Experience understanding set IT strategies and objectives.
• Being available for working outside of normal business hours, holidays, and some weekends when needed or for on-call periods.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• 10-12 Years of total professional experience in field of Information Technology
• 8+ years of managing Linux Systems and applications.
• 5+ years of scripting and coding
• 3+ years of actual Enterprise compute support
• Certification with Operating System, Network and Cloud technologies
• University Degree relating to Information Systems or Computer Scienc

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 00(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
