Job Details

Our client is looking to add a Principal Technology Project architect as an SAP technical resource responsible for development, direction, and execution of the digital customer experience through the efficient delivery of back-office operations and systems. Focus of this resource will be SAP Order to Cash, BRIM, S4 HANA. This position will influence the partnership with product management, marketing, sales, engineering, support, operations, and information technology teams to deliver a digital platform enabling an industry-defining customer experience throughout the customer journey including customer lifecycle elements of shop-> try-> buy-> use-> support-> renew.

This position works collaboratively with technology, shared services, cross-functional senior leadership teams in the business unit and global division to facilitate the execution of digital strategies through effective oversight, prioritization, and resource allocation. The principal technology architect will personally lead larger scale SAP projects or programs to ensure execution is aligned and integrated with corporate strategies, plans, and initiatives, and keeps management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results This principal should have expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution and other SAP modules. This is a newly created role requiring someone to be hands on and maintain a roll-up-the-sleeves mentality. The ideal candidate is a seasoned operations leader with a proven track record of building and delivering digital customer experiences and business transformation processes in a cloud software company. The essential duties of the Principal Technology Architect TAA include the following:

  • Lead the design, development and execution of a comprehensive SAP STEP back-office strategy that aligns with the business s strategic objectives to deliver a world-class customer experience across a portfolio of products, creating customer advocacy at each engagement
  • Responsible for leading systems requirements delivery for initiatives covering SAP S4 HANA, SAP BRIM, SAP OTC, web, back office, data warehouse, reporting, business intelligence and analytics platforms. He or She will have to work closely with Project Management, Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Production Support and executives across various Business units
  • Bring subject matter expertise of SAP solution in projects and enhancement discussions
  • Define the online digital experience by engaging deeply with our customers and leveraging the integration of SFDC and SAP. Proven experience in automating manual processes including paper to digital invoicing, and system integrations through direct integration
  • Directly define the SAP implementation strategy for the business, lead and implement the SAP governance framework, with a focus on improving program quality with focus on standardization & transformation.
  • Indirectly oversee and influence cross-functional teams accountable for the digital experience delivery and KPI definitions, including Account Services, Account Management, and AR functions
  • Accountable for the evolution and delivery of digital customer experiences which include identifying opportunities to transform solutions and the delivery of existing services and capabilities, managing external digital consumer experience vendors, and partnering with user design experience (UX) and user interface design (UI) teams.
  • Developing and maintaining relationship with Executive staff within European TAA
  • Consults with senior and executive management and serves as a liaison to internal and external partners on department and business strategies within European TAA, as well
  • Developing plans, monitoring, and managing internal non-technical large multifaceted projects from initiation through completion
