SAP Project Manager- ECC to S/4 HANA Migration

• 2-3 year duration
• 4 days/week onsite in Dallas TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful implementation and migration to SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies, extensive experience with SAP systems (particularly S/4HANA), and a proven track record of managing end-to-end ERP transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle of SAP S/4HANA migration/implementation projects, from planning through go-live and post-implementation support.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business units, external vendors) to ensure alignment and readiness.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, validate solutions, and drive decision-making.
• Ensure effective change management, communication, and training plans are in place to support adoption.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Maintain strong governance and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master s preferred) 5+ years of project management experience, including at least 1 full-cycle SAP implementations, with a strong focus on SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Deep understanding of SAP modules and integration points across Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM/SD), and/or Manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP Activate methodology or similar.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-phased projects in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield S/4HANA projects.
• Familiarity with data migration tools and processes (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW).
• Experience coordinating with system integrators and offshore teams.
• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid project delivery models.
