Role: SAP Release/Change Manager

Location: LA Metro, CA

Duration : 12 +Months

Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Release/Change Manager to oversee release management, change control, and cutover planning for SAP projects and support initiatives. This role ensures smooth deployment of SAP releases into production with minimal risk and disruption, while aligning with business requirements and governance processes.

Responsibilities

Release Management

Plan, coordinate, and manage SAP releases (enhancements, upgrades, patches, and project cutovers).

Establish release calendars, timelines, and dependencies across multiple SAP landscapes.

Collaborate with project managers, functional teams, and technical teams to ensure readiness for releases.

Change Management

Govern the change management process for SAP environments in line with ITIL standards.

Review, assess, and approve SAP-related change requests (transport management).

Monitor compliance with change control processes and ensure proper documentation.

Cutover Planning

Develop and execute detailed cutover plans for SAP deployments.

Coordinate activities across technical, functional, and business teams during cutover.

Manage go-live readiness, dress rehearsals, and post-go-live support.

Stakeholder Management

Act as the central point of contact for SAP release and change activities.

Communicate release scope, risks, and status updates to stakeholders and leadership.

Facilitate release planning meetings and change advisory board (CAB) reviews.
