SAP Test Lead

Define and lead the SAP testing strategy (functional, integration, regression, UAT, endtoend) across modules.

Develop test plans, scenarios, and detailed test cases/scripts based on functional & technical requirements.

Manage and coordinate testing teams (onshore/offshore), assigning tasks, tracking progress.

Oversee test data management, ensure test environments are ready, set up, stable.

Lead defect management: logging, tracking, triage, ensuring fixes & retests.

Provide test reports, metrics, status dashboards to stakeholders.

Mentor/train junior testers. Ensure best practice / compliance with QA standards/guidelines.

Support automation efforts (where relevant) deciding what to automate, implementing/overseeing test automation.

Participate in or lead multiple testing cycles: integration, performance, cutover, data migration.

  • SAP / Testing certifications (e.g. ISTQB, SAP certification).
  • Experience of greenfield implementation projects (building from scratch) and/or migrations / upgrades.
  • Automation framework design & performance testing.
  • Experience working with test environment setup, complex integrations and data migration/conversion.
