Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SAP Test Lead to join our team and lead end-to-end testing efforts for SAP implementations and upgrades. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP testing strategies, tools, and processes across various SAP modules (such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, etc.), and a proven track record in managing testing teams in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of testing activities for SAP projects (including implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support).

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.

  • Coordinate and manage a team of testers (onshore/offshore), ensuring test coverage, quality, and timely delivery.

  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to understand business processes and identify testing needs.

  • Manage test data preparation, defect management, and reporting.

  • Drive and support automation testing (if applicable) and utilize tools such as HP ALM, SAP TAO, Worksoft, or Tricentis Tosca.

  • Ensure adherence to testing standards and best practices.

  • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to testing activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

  • 8+ years of overall experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in SAP testing.

  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.).

  • Experience leading SAP testing teams and managing test deliverables.

  • Familiarity with SAP testing tools (e.g., HP ALM/QC, Tosca, Worksoft Certify, SAP TAO).

  • Experience with different types of testing: Unit, Integration, UAT, Regression, and Performance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP certification(s) in relevant modules or testing tools.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments.

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration or implementation projects.

  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting.
