What you'll do:

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - Analytics Engineer
Location: US - Remote
Expected start date: November 2025
Duration: 6 months with the possibility to extend to 12 months
Work Hours: 40 hours/week

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer (Data Analyst) to join the SAP Americas Customer Success Management - Renewal Operations team. This role is central to meeting the data and analytics needs that power renewal forecast accuracy and execution support across all solution areas and market units in the Americas region, including North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. As part of a fast-paced, high-visibility team, you will build and scale business intelligence workflows, enable predictive insights, and support data-driven execution strategies that are critical to SAP's recurring revenue and customer retention efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Operational Analytics
Design, automate, and maintain data models to support renewal forecast reporting and churn analysis.
Drive insights through interactive dashboards and reports that inform strategy across multiple regions and business lines.

Data Engineering & Workflow Automation
Build scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Power Query.
Ensure clean, reliable data flows into reporting tools like SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Power BI.

Business Partnership
Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers and leaders across the Americas to translate business needs into actionable analytics solutions.
Support quarterly business reviews (QBRs), bi-weekly renewal forecast, churn mitigation planning, and regional performance reporting.

Platform & Tool Enablement
Leverage SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP DWC, and other enterprise tools to enable data governance, access management, and automation.
Perform ETL tasks and validate data for consistency and quality.

Innovation & Advanced Analytics
Contribute to machine learning initiatives aimed at predicting renewal risks and identifying revenue opportunities.
Document and share best practices for analytics delivery, dashboard development, and scalable data operations

What you bring:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
Master's degree preferred.

Technical Skills:
Solid experience with Python, SQL, and Excel (VBA, pivot tables, formulas).
Hands-on knowledge of Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Power Query.
Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, SAP DWC, or similar data warehouse platforms.
Exposure to SAP Business Data Cloud, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake Data Cloud or similar unified data platforms.
Familiarity with big data tools such as Databricks is a plus.

Soft Skills:
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Effective communicator, comfortable presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Collaborative and adaptable in a fast-changing environment

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 15 - 62 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
